About Emma Hogbin

Emma Jane Hogbin was first introduced to Canada’s political system when she was selected as a Legislative Page at the Ontario Legislature while attending public school and later a Legislative Usher while studying at the University of Toronto. She graduated from U of T in 1999 with a BSc in Science and the Environment where she focused on the politics of migratory fish species. In 2005, Emma returned to her home town of Owen Sound to open a boutique consulting agency to help build on-line communities and work with not-for-profit organizations. She holds the position of Science and Technology Critic with the Shadow Cabinet of the Green Party of Canada.
